The NefroCenter Healthcare Group expands its network of services in Italy by acquiring three dialysis centers in Liguria
Napoli / Genova. NefroCenter, the first private Italian group specialized in diabetology, nephrology, dialysis and complex chronic metabolic diseases, is expanding its healthcare network in Liguria with the addition of three centers accredited with the National Health Service (SSN).
The new acquisition concerns the centers of:
- Albenga – Clinica San Michele, in the heart of the Riviera di Ponente, designed to offer high-standard hemodialysis treatments and dedicated healthcare support;
- Loano – Villa Azzurra, a recently opened facility that combines comfort, hospitality and specialist care for dialysis patients;
- San Salvatore di Cogorno, a historic center of the eastern Ligurian Riviera, operating since 1981 and a point of reference for hemodialysis care accredited by the Regione Liguria.
All the centers, already under agreement with the SSN, are well-established providers of hemodialysis with latest-generation technologies, ensuring safe and qualified care for patients coming from other Italian regions and from abroad.
The offering of the summer dialysis project promoted by NefroCenter is expanding. It is already active in numerous tourist locations in Campania (Ischia, Procida, Castel Volturno and the Amalfi Coast), in Lazio (Formia) and in Veneto (Jesolo and Bibione), with the aim of ensuring that patients on dialysis can spend their vacations in peace and safety.
With this operation, NefroCenter further strengthens its national presence, bringing outstanding facilities into its healthcare network and consolidating the quality of the care offered to patients with chronic kidney failure. The expansion in Liguria is part of the Group’s broader growth strategy, which has for years invested in cutting-edge technologies, specialized staff and multidisciplinary healthcare services.
