November 14, World Diabetes Day 2025
On November 14, on the occasion of World Diabetes Day, the Nefrocenter Group is taking the field with a major prevention and awareness initiative involving Roma and as many as 8 cities in Campania.
The goal is to make prevention easier for people, promoting awareness of a disease such as diabetes which, in Italy, affects millions of citizens and which can be managed effectively through early diagnosis and healthy lifestyles.
During the day, the group’s healthcare staff will be available to offer a diabetes checkup and a capillary blood glucose measurement – a simple but essential test, performed with a painless prick on the finger that yields a small drop of blood to be analyzed. A quick gesture that can prove decisive in detecting, early on, metabolic changes that are often silent.
The stations will be active in Atripalda (Casa di Cura Santa Rita -Via Appia, snc), Castellammare di Stabia (Piazza G. Matteotti – AID Stabia), Cava de’ Tirreni (Piazza V. Emanuele III – Centro Medico Conti), Napoli (Piazza Giambattista Pacichelli – LID Napoli), Nocera Inferiore (Piazza Amendola – AID Nocera), San Giuseppe Vesuviano (Casa di Salute Santa Lucia -Via Aielli, 109), Scafati (Piazza Vittorio Veneto – Punto Salute), Torre Annunziata (Corso Umberto I – AID Oplonti) and Roma (Rome American Hospital – Via E. Longoni, 81 and Villa Anna Maria – Via Saturnia, 25).
Three of the five provinces of Campania and the capital, therefore, will be involved in the day dedicated to local prevention, confirming the group’s great commitment, which for years has been present in the squares with its own stands so that citizens can have free and immediate checks.
