NefroCenter takes part in the “Research Grant” of the Fondazione Gabriella Fabbrocini Napoli, March 26, 2026
Scientific research and entertainment meet in Naples for the third edition of the “Research Grant” of the Fondazione Gabriella Fabbrocini, scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2026 at the Teatro Mediterraneo at the Mostra d’Oltremare (Viale Kennedy 54, Naples).
The event is one of the most important moments in the Foundation’s yearly activity and has a precise goal: to report on the results achieved over the past year and to raise funds for scientific research, by financing scholarships and projects selected by the Scientific Committee coordinated by Professor Andrea Ballabio.
During the evening, three research grants will be awarded to projects of great scientific value carried out by Professor Vincenzo Corbo, Professor Michele Reni and Professor Caterina Missero, scholars engaged in developing innovative research in oncology and dermatology, with particular attention to pancreatic cancer and severe skin diseases.
This year again, Nefrocenter will contribute concretely to the evening by presenting a grant in support of research, which will be awarded through Dr. Giovanni Lombardi and Elena Scarlato, as a testament to the company’s active role in supporting scientific projects of excellence.
The ceremony will take place in the presence of the Mayor of Naples, the Rector of the Federico II University, the Prefect and numerous civil and military authorities, underscoring the institutional and social value of the event.
The evening of March 26 will also be a great show of solidarity: artists, comedians, singers, actors and bands of national prominence will take turns on stage, helping to create an atmosphere of participation and generosity.
After the success of the previous editions, which sold out with over 800 participants, the 2026 edition too promises to be an important meeting point between the scientific community, institutions and civil society.
