The NefroCenter Group acquires Clinica Posillipo in Naples, and the first Longevity Institute in Campania is born
The NefroCenter Group continues on its path of growth with the acquisition of Clinica Posillipo in Naples, a historic private healthcare facility located on the Posillipo hill and, for nearly forty years, a reference point for specialist plastic surgery and advanced diagnostics. The transaction is a further piece in the Group’s development plan, aimed at building an ever larger network of highly specialized healthcare facilities, capable of offering innovative, multidisciplinary care, with particular attention to the study of longevity.
With this acquisition, the NefroCenter Group further consolidates its presence in the metropolitan area of Naples, broadening its healthcare offering with a facility marked by a strong surgical vocation and by significant technological and professional assets.
The entry of Clinica Posillipo into the NefroCenter Group’s network will make it possible to integrate new clinical and surgical expertise, strengthening the care already available in the area and creating new synergies among the Group’s sites. The goal is to enhance an already established organization through investments in technological innovation, digitalization of clinical pathways and development of new lines of highly complex activity.
Clinica Posillipo, operating since 1987, offers a care model dedicated to specialist surgery and advanced diagnostic pathways, with particular reference to plastic surgery, general surgery and ophthalmology, alongside a complete anesthesiology and preoperative evaluation service.
The acquisition also involves three facilities accredited with the Regional Health Service. These are the Centro Antidiabetico AID Napoli, dedicated to specialist care of patients with diabetes, the Centro Diagnostico di Analisi Cliniche Megaride, a laboratory specializing in laboratory tests, and Diagnostiche Giordano, a diagnostic imaging center equipped with Computed Tomography (CT) with three-dimensional reconstruction, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, digital radiology, orthopantomography and ultrasound.
With Clinica Posillipo, the NefroCenter Group takes a further step toward creating an integrated healthcare platform at the national level, dedicated to the care of patients with chronic and metabolic diseases.
