NefroCenter and SSC Napoli: still a team together for health

NAPOLI – The NefroCenter Group will once again stand beside Calcio Napoli for the new season. The collaboration, now established for 4 years, is not only confirmed but strengthened, with the Campania healthcare group continuing to guarantee Emergency Medical Service at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

During all of the team’s home matches, NefroCenter will ensure the presence of highly qualified medical staff, ambulances, defibrillators and mobile emergency teams ready to intervene both in the stands and pitchside, in cooperation with the local health authority (ASL) and law enforcement. A well-tested organization that aims to make the stadium a safer environment.

The renewal of the partnership confirms the healthcare group’s desire to be an established partner in the sporting experience, alongside the Italian champions. NefroCenter has more than 100 private and accredited clinical and hospital facilities, active throughout Italy. Its clinical offering ranges from nephrology and dialysis to diabetology, from cardiology to neurology, including rehabilitation, imaging and laboratory diagnostics, molecular biology and genetics, and up to hospital clinical, surgical and life-saving activities.

The group aims to considerably improve the quality of care for patients through the creation of true centers of excellence, constantly investing in the most modern technologies equipped with artificial intelligence, such as the brand-new 3 Tesla MRI scanners, coronary CT scans for the predictive assessment of heart attack risk, the new latest-generation operating rooms for hemodynamics, cardiac surgery and high-complexity orthopedic prosthetic surgery, and cutting-edge systems for cataract eye surgery.

All of this takes place in the group’s most modern and innovative hospitals: the Casa di Salute Santa Lucia in San Giuseppe Vesuviano, the Casa di Cura Santa Rita in Atripalda, and the Rome American Hospital in Roma.
There have also been several investments in minimally invasive robotic surgery, such as the introduction of the da Vinci robot at the Rome American Hospital and of the CORI robotic system for prosthetic surgery at the Casa di Cura Santa Rita and the Casa di Salute Santa Lucia.
