NefroCenter acquires Casa di Cura Sant’Anna in Imperia from the Emeis Group

The NefroCenter Group acquires Casa di Cura Sant'Anna in Imperia from the Emeis Group, a historic facility with 138 beds accredited with the SSN

The NefroCenter Group further strengthens its presence across Italy with the acquisition, from the Emeis Group (a leading French healthcare group present in Italy with more than 26 healthcare facilities), of the Casa di Cura Sant’Anna in Imperia, a historic healthcare, social-care and mental health facility, accredited with the Italian National Health Service and for years a point of reference for Western Liguria. The transaction, announced jointly by the two groups, further strengthens NefroCenter’s presence in Northern Italy and consolidates the group’s positioning in the sectors of rehabilitation, elderly care, mental health and high-complexity social and healthcare services.

Casa di Cura Sant’Anna is located in the center of Imperia and has 138 beds accredited with the regional health system. The facility offers a complete and articulated care model that includes a rehabilitation department, a post-acute residential care facility (RSA), a residential care facility (RSA) for people with disabilities, a protected residence for the elderly and an area dedicated to mental health. As well as radiology and outpatient departments.

For the NefroCenter Group, the leading Italian private healthcare operator in the field of chronic metabolic diseases, the acquisition of Casa di Cura Sant’Anna represents a strategic investment of great significance. The goal is to further enhance a facility that is already well established and deeply rooted in the area, ensuring continuity of care and new technological investments within the “longevity” project.

With this acquisition, the NefroCenter Group further expands its network of healthcare and social-care facilities and confirms a development strategy aimed at building an integrated care system, able to combine high specialization, technological innovation and strong local roots.
