The Nefrocenter Group acquires Casa di Cura Santa Rita

Nuova Domiziana Spa, the first healthcare group in Campania, with 5 private facilities accredited with the National Health Service (SSN), represented by Dr. Vincenzo Schiavone, and owner of Casa di Cura S. Rita in Atripalda (AV), yesterday, June 26, sold the entire equity stake in that healthcare facility to the Nefrocenter Group, a leader in Italy in the field of chronic metabolic diseases and dialysis with over 80 facilities across the country.

The transaction allowed Nuova Domiziana SPA to further increase its investments in the main facility of Pineta Grande, and the Nefrocenter Group to expand its care network and strengthen healthcare activities, in particular for chronic patients.

Casa di Cura S. Rita is a multispecialty facility with 139 authorized beds, of which 114 are accredited with the SSN in the specialties of orthopedics (the regional high-specialty hub for Campania), oncology (a reference center for the Campania regional oncology network), general medicine, cardiology, general surgery, urology, gynecology and obstetrics, and otolaryngology, cardiorespiratory pathophysiology, endoscopy and the main specialist outpatient clinics.

The transaction was assisted by the Fimmanò law firm for the corporate legal aspects and by the DLA Piper firm for the aspects related to the financing agreement. The financial advisor of Nuova Domiziana SPA was Hill House Capital, while the Nefrocenter Group was assisted financially by Deutsche Bank
