NefroCenter brings kidney health to the classrooms of the Istituto Superiore F. Morano in Caivano
On March 14, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., students of the Istituto Superiore in Parco Verde, Caivano (Naples) will take part in theoretical and practical sessions on education and prevention in kidney health among young people.
On the occasion of World Kidney Day, the NefroCenter healthcare group has organized an important educational initiative for the students of the Istituto Superiore “Francesco Morano” in Parco Verde, Caivano (Naples).
On March 14, 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., the students of the Istituto Tecnico Superiore will have the opportunity to take part firsthand in an educational and preventive project on kidney health.
The main goal of the initiative is to raise awareness of kidney diseases among the school population, promoting healthy lifestyles from adolescence. The students will be guided by the NefroCenter group’s specialist medical and healthcare team, in a program meant to build fundamental knowledge and promote greater awareness of the risks of kidney disease.
The program includes an engaging interactive discussion with the students of the school, followed by a test assessing their initial level of knowledge on the subject. Afterward, the students will have the opportunity to take part in hands-on laboratory activities, learning to measure blood pressure and to perform do-it-yourself urine tests, in order to detect quickly and early any signs of kidney problems.
For NefroCenter, Italy’s first private group specialized in nephrology, dialysis and diabetology, the event is an important opportunity to engage with and actively involve the young people of the area, sharing knowledge about kidney health and helping them understand the essential role of prevention.
