Kidney Health for All – World Kidney Day 2024
Promoting equitable access to care and optimal treatment practice
The NefroCenter Healthcare Group celebrates World Kidney Day 2024 with Prevention and Awareness initiatives
On the occasion of World Kidney Day 2024, the NefroCenter Healthcare Group will promote free screenings for kidney health, through a series of initiatives, in the squares and at its own centers, aimed at raising awareness of the importance of kidney health and prevention.
The NefroCenter Group will be present in Castellammare di Stabia (NA) in Piazza Giacomo Matteotti and in Nola (NA) in Piazza Duomo on March 14, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Medical and healthcare staff will carry out free nephrology visits with urinalysis and blood pressure measurement. Nutritional counseling with body composition assessment (BIA) will also be offered
At the same time, in all the Nephrology centers of the NefroCenter Group, it will be possible to have the same nephrology visits, urinalysis and blood pressure measurement.
An educational session is also planned with the students of the Istituto Superiore “Francesco Morano” in Parco Verde, Caivano (Napoli), to raise awareness among the younger population about kidney disease, promoting behaviors that support kidney health.
In addition, throughout the month of March, the Maiello laboratory, located in Napoli at via Sant’Alfonso Maria de’ Liguori 3, will apply a 30% discount on all tests related to the assessment of kidney function.
The NefroCenter Group, a leader in the study of and research on kidney and metabolic diseases, has always been committed to awareness actions on the importance of kidney health and the prevention of serious kidney-related diseases, through behaviors and lifestyles that reduce the risk of developing kidney disorders, and through the identification of risk factors and early symptoms.
We look forward to seeing you. Taking part means taking care of your own health.
