Cassetta Rossa Nefrocenter
Nefrocenter red mailbox

A HELP LINE in every center to report any form of violence
On the occasion of the international day against violence against women, NefroCenter places an anonymous red mailbox at its main centers. The mailbox will collect any requests for help from people living in situations of distress and difficulty.
You are not alone: together we break the silence
Tell us your thoughts, your distress and your fears. We will contact you with absolute respect for your privacy and we will assess the most suitable path to take.
“If it hurts, it isn’t love.” The “Cassetta Rossa Nefrocenter” campaign begins for the national day against violence against women
On the occasion of the international day against violence against women -on November 25- NefroCenter promoted an awareness day by installing an anonymous mailbox (red in color) at the main NefroCenter centers. The mailbox will serve citizens in difficulty, victims of violence, stalking and mobbing, to report in a confidential way any form of violence and discrimination. The aim is to collect any requests for help from people living in situations of difficulty, pathological and alarming, that often do not emerge because of fear and shame. People can state that they wish to be contacted, giving a telephone number; or to be reached, with absolute respect for their privacy. In agreement with those who have contacted us, we will assess the most suitable path to take.
The Cassetta Rossa Nefrocenter can provide a concrete and immediate tool for collecting reports, for prevention and for listening, for all victims of violent dynamics, using a channel that is easy to reach, confidential and minimally invasive in collecting the request for help, with the support of our team.
Even today, unfortunately, it is difficult to find the courage to ask for help, out of shame, out of fear or because one feels controlled.
The campaign aims to encourage women who are victims of violence to also contact the national number 1522 of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department for Equal Opportunities, free of charge and active 24 hours a day, which receives with specialized operators the requests for help and support of victims of violence and stalking.
