The well-known Professor Ying-xu Li, director of the metabolic minimally invasive surgery service at Qujing Second People\u2019s Hospital in China, observed some operations performed at the Casa di Salute Santa Lucia<\/a> of the Nefrocenter<\/a> group, in San Giuseppe Vesuviano. Professor Ying-xu Li is the author of numerous articles on metabolic surgery with extensive experience in the field of bariatric surgery. The surgeon attended the operations performed by Dr. Giovanni Carandente Sicco, head of the General Surgery service of the Casa di Salute, and by the surgeon Luigi Prisco, both experts in advanced surgical techniques. <\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting between the distinguished Chinese surgeon and his Italian colleagues was an important opportunity for exchange. The meeting, in fact, led to a mutual exchange of knowledge and surgical strategies between the doctors of the two countries. <\/span><\/p>\n

The medical team performed two surgical operations at Santa Lucia. They performed a laparoscopic right hemicolectomy on a patient with cancer and two Sleeve Gastrectomy operations.<\/span><\/p>\n

The goal of the collaboration is to further improve the quality of the care provided to patients. For this reason, Professor Li’s visit to the Clinica Santa Lucia was a direct benefit for the patients who rely on the expertise of the doctors of the Nefrocenter group facility. <\/span><\/p>\n
